What are categories & filters?
Categories and filters are same thing in stockists app. They let you group locations and help customers narrow results on stockists map.
Use categories for things like:
- Store type
- Product range
- Brand carried
- Services offered
- Region-specific tags
How do customers use categories on stockists map?
Customers use categories as search filters on public stockists map to narrow visible results.
How it works for customers:
- Customer opens stockists map on your storefront.
- Customer uses category filter options shown in search area.
- Customer selects one or more categories.
- Map refreshes to show matching locations.
- Matching location listings can also show category labels if
Show in stockist listings is enabled.
How do I add new categories?
Add new categories from settings panel.
