Common map problems

This guide helps when:

• your map does not appear
• map area is gray
• map preview does not load
• map loads but behaves strangely
• search or geolocation feels broken

First things to check

Start with these:

1. Confirm your stockists map is installed in Shopify.
2. Confirm your provider settings are saved.
3. Confirm your API key is valid if using Mapbox or Google Maps.
4. Refresh storefront page after saving any change.
5. Check whether problem happens only in preview, or also on live storefront.
6. Try testing on a different theme on your store and confirming if that still has the same display issues.
