Common signs your API key is not working
You may have an API key issue if:
- map preview does not load
- map fails on storefront
- provider shows invalid key warning
- geocoding or map tiles do not appear
- you recently changed provider or key
First things to check
Step by step:
- Open
Settings.
- Click
Map provider & style.
- Confirm which provider you are using.
- If using
Mapbox or Google Maps, confirm an API key is entered.
- Check for typing mistakes, extra spaces, or incomplete copy/paste.
- Save settings again after updating the key.
If you use Mapbox
Make sure:
- you created a public token
- token was copied correctly
- token is still active
