What is custom install?

Custom install lets you place your stockists map on a Shopify page template you choose.

This is best when you want:

• more control over layout
• more control over page URL
• more control over where the map appears

Step 1: Create a new page in Shopify

Step by step:

1. In Shopify admin, open Online Store -> Pages.
2. Click Add page.
3. Enter page title for your stockists map.
4. Set the page handle to the URL you want.
5. Save the page.

Step 2: Choose or create the right page template

Now decide which page template this new page should use.

You can:

• use an existing page template
• or create a new dedicated template for your stockists map

Best practice:

• create a dedicated template if you want full control and do not want other pages affected
