What is the difference?

Search radius and Geolocation radius control two different ways customers find locations.

• Search radius applies when customer types place into search bar
• Geolocation radius applies when map uses customer's current location

Simple version:

• Typed search = Search radius
• Use my location / automatic location = Geolocation radius

Both settings are found in Settings -> Search & geolocation.

How search radius works

Search radius controls how far out results can be shown around searched area when customer types place into search field.

Examples:

• Customer searches for Auckland
• Customer searches for suburb
• Customer searches for postcode
• Customer searches for street address

How to change it:

1. Open Settings.
2. Click Search & geolocation.
3. Find Search distance and limits.
4. Set Include searches when... to the behavior you want.
