What is a custom map pin icon?

A custom map pin icon lets you replace the standard map marker with your own image.

You can use this for:

• brand icons
• logos
• custom location symbols
• category-specific markers

You can set a custom pin in two places:

• Settings -> Map provider & style -> Default Map Pin
• Settings -> Categories & filters -> edit category -> Override map pin style

How do I create a custom default map pin?

This changes the main pin used across your map whenever a category or filter does not have its own override.

Step by step:

1. Open Settings.
2. Click Map provider & style.
3. Scroll to Default Map Pin.
4. Change Pin type to Custom image.
5. Paste your Custom image URL.
6. Choose Image display.
7. If needed, enable Retina support.
